Articles and BlogsThere are many spiritual articles that are good resources for our spiritual growth. Aside from those here in Catholic Internet Mission, there are also other very good articles in Catholic Online. You can always choose which articles can help deepen your knowledge of the Catholic faith and eventually improve your relationship with Christ and the Catholic church. For purely spiritual articles, these are the articles in Catholic Internet Mission to read: "The Holy Spirit Strengthens the 'Inner Man'"; "What Must We Do, Brothers?"; What is the Christian Vocation?; How Can I Be A Good Catholic Every Christmastime?; These articles are of a pure spiritual nature. However, for those of you who are have written articles yourselves and have integrated both the Catholic faith and its promotion in the Internet, you can also read the following articles: " What's Featured?" What is good about Catholic articles is that they are briefly written and most of them are written in pure and simple style. Articles that contain theological and spirituality jargon are much more difficult to understand because they use terminology that are associated with the fields of theology and spirituality. In case you come across articles in Catholic Internet Mission that use some theological and spirituality jargon and terminology, just use the search function of the leading search engines for theology and spirituality dictionaries for the meaning of the terms. But usually, in the articles, there will be some brief definitions made to explain the theological and spirituality terms that may have been used for the purposes of the articles. As for the technological jargon, kindly also use the search function of the search engines. If we were to gauge the usefulness of many Catholic articles, the most useful in terms of current information are the news articles. The easiest articles to understand are certainly those news articles that give updates on many things happening in the Catholic Church all over the world. There are many Catholic websites that give all these current information in their news services. Some of these news articles you can subscribe for free and some articles are given in more detail when you subscribe to them for a fee. Most of the new articles that circulate around the Internet are simple and plain and do not give theology and spirituality jargon except for a few instances here and there. However, the focus of these news articles is more on information rather than on anything didactic or instructive. Also, these articles give just information and not the spiritual insight and wisdom that is being asked by the Church for the use of the internet in spreading the Catholic faith. To benefit really online from good spiritual articles that are written by very good Catholics, select those articles that deal positively with the many institutions, missions and works of the Church. The safest articles to read are those that deal with the Church's classic devotions and spiritualities. Try to avoid those articles that give a very negative picture of the Church and which tend to weaken the faith and confidence in our Catholic institutions, belief-systems and moral codes. At this time of our Catholic history, the focus in the Catholic Church is on the reality of the the Eucharist and devotion to Mary. There are many articles abounding in both these subjects. You can search for articles that deal on both these subjects. It is important to note that in our classic tradition, the Eucharist and the devotion to the blessed Mother are the two pillars of our Catholic tradition that will anchor us well in our faith - like the vision of St. John Bosco of a stormy sea that seeks to destroy the boat of Peter but did not sink because it was anchored well to two pillars which has the Eucharist and the Blessed Mother on the top. Articles are very beneficial for our day to day life as Christians because they keep our spirituality up-to-date. Both the news articles and the purely spiritual articles help us in our Christian life even though many of us are working professionals who are very busy. The news articles anchor us in the present situation while the purely spiritual and classic articles become the context for judging wisely how we are to proceed as Catholic with regard to serious moral issues. It helps us respond with a more broad-minded approach to the question, "what would Jesus do?" Although articles are beneficial for our fast-paced Christian lifestyle, many books, magazines and documents from the Vatican are even in themselves very substantial although they are more dated in their information and content. But if we wish to find concrete solutions as to how to deal with contemporary moral problems and wish to discern a course of action, then the wisdom and truth of classic spirituality and the contents and materials in books, magazines that refer to the documents of the Church will help us study and discern what should be done. They will always anchor us well and provide the right and proper direction in which to proceed. But if we are not really that involved in difficult moral situations which require serious Christian discernment, then the articles in this web site will give anyone a renewed outlook on the the Catholic faith, spirit and lifestyle. The Catholic articles written here are usually written in a few lines and words - something you can read in one sitting. It will truly help the Catholic working professional to find spiritual enrichment and nourishment while on the move and on the go.
